Clivias are large, heavy plants. A mature plant can be 2 to 3 feet tall and almost as wide, with long, arching swordlike leaves. They are ideal for borders, a great evergreen for under trees and other shady frost-free areas. Large bell-shaped bright orange flowers are produced in big heads on strong stems.
