The small to medium-size fruit of this jujube is extremely sweet, even when fresh! It is a somewhat spiny tree but less so than Li and Lang. Tree is precocious, hardy, drought resistant, virtually pest and disease free. It produces small, sweet, reddish-brown fruits in late winter.
